We have several opportunities for men to be involved in the life of First Baptist Ashville
Bible studies for men are offered throughout the year. We do man church curriculum - a Bible study aimed at men. These studies are done on Sunday afternoons @ 5:00pm in 5 week blocks. (check the calendar for dates)
Night of Champions is an annual event held just prior to the start of the high school football season. In the past we have had former Clemson Head Coach, Tommy Bowden, former Alabama and Auburn quarterbacks, Greg McElroy & Patrick Nix, and former professional baseball player & Auburn football player, Tyler Stovall.
Men & Boys Wild Game Dinner is an annual even held in February. We started the wild game dinner back in 2014 and it has become a staple of our men's ministry. We use this night as a great time of fellowship, fun, and a challenging word to men and boys from Christian men who are also outdoor enthusiasts. This year's event will be February 26 starting at 4:30pm. Tickets are $10 and are available at the church office Mon-Thursday from 8:00am until 4:00pm & Friday's from 8:00-noon. Gene Chizik, National championship head coach & current defensive coordinator of the University of North Carolina will be this year's keynote speaker.
